Fall is often first-person shooter season, and looks like this year's release calendar will include the next entry in the Battlefield series. Battlefield 6 is launching on October 10, and will be available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, Epic Games and the EA Play app.

Additionally, EA announced two open beta weekends for Battlefield 6, which will take place from August 9 to 10 and August 14 to 17, 2025. Players can gain access to the first beta weekend up to two days early by winning raffles held by content creators.

As part of the Battlefield 6 reveal event today, EA and Battlefield Studios released a multiplayer trailer for the game, and it delivered the goods. Set to a version of Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff," the trailer shows off more of what to expect from the multiplayer mode, which is the bread and butter of the FPS series.
