An international team has captured a high-definition image of a cosmic filament within the cosmic web, connecting two galaxies from when the universe was about 2 billion years old.

The onboard high-definition television, developed by the Japan Broadcasting Corporation, captured the eight-minute video about 68,350 miles (110,000 kilometers) away from Earth.
