Power went out for tens of thousands of customers around West Michigan as a strong line of storms marched through Sunday.

The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that Lake County gained 2,346 new residents last year, an increase of 0.5%. It was among the fastest-growing of Indiana's 92 counties.
