Aroldis Chapman didn’t look like his dominant self in the eighth inning Sunday against the Dodgers, and after facing just three batters he came out with an apparent injury.

Chapman thinks he’ll be able to pitch in a couple of days after walking off the mound with a back spasm in the eighth inning.

Chapman had tried to convince manager Alex Cora to let him stay in the game in order to face Teoscar Hernández with runners on first and second and one out. But Cora refused, pulling Chapman and summoning righthander Jordan Hicks.
