ATLANTA — As effects from a winter storm in north Georgia move into its second day, hundreds more flights are being canceled at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. According to flight tracker Flight Aware, 322 flights at the Atlanta airport has been canceled on Saturday. Another 180 flights are currently being delayed.

Thousands of flights have been canceled, including more than 400 out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport – the nation’s busiest airport – where a ground delay has been issued.

A ground stop until 2 p.m. was issued for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by the Federal Aviation Administration and Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said they’re dealing with worse weather conditions than expected.

Flight 2668 had 201 passengers onboard, who were evacuated from the plane via emergency slides and taken back to the terminal via ground transportation, according to officials.

Officials at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport confirmed that four passengers received minor injuries after a Delta jet had to be evacuated on the tarmac.
