On the strength of a 39-point performance by Jalen Brunson, another fantastic fourth quarter from Mikal Bridges and by far their best offensive showing of the series, the New York Knicks took a 3-1 series lead against the Boston Celtics with a 121-113 win in Game 4 on Monday at Madison Square Garden.
Due his impressive trajectory, former NBA point guard Jay Williams believes that Brunson is destined to place his name in New York history books. During a segment of "Get Up," Williams made a historical prediction for Brunson. "I do think he will shatter pretty much all New York Knick records," Williams said.

Against the Boston Celtics, the New York Knicks have relied on Jalen Brunson to much success. He is averaging a stellar 28 points and 7.8 assists on 41.2 percent shooting from the floor, and has easily been the best player in the series, including Jayson Tatum before he went down with injury.
All told, Brunson has scored 90 clutch points over the past two postseasons. That's already the most in a span of two playoff runs since Kobe Bryant in 2009-10, and Brunson has at least four games, and likely more, left to add to that number.
