It's an issue that's growing in the city of Detroit: teenagers and guns. During his Walk a Mile Wednesday, Police Chief Todd Bettison spoke on the issue.

The stabbing and shooting have prompted Detroit police to conduct more random bus patrols. Fitzgerald said the police department already has a unit that patrols buses, but even more officers will be boarding buses around the city in an effort to protect drivers and passengers, and curb violence.

The Detroit Police Department said one person was injured after a shooting on a DDOT bus on Wednesday morning.
