The Ellensburg Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 5. The annual event is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, located at Seventh Avenue and Poplar Street.

Ellensburg is looking for people interested in applying for a vacant position on the city’s Planning Commission.
