The Lions signed veteran tackle Dan Skipper from the practice squad earlier this week. Skipper has filled the voids on the offensive line more than a couple of times in recent years. He’s started 11 games over the last three seasons, with most of those coming at offensive tackle.

The Lions were without St. Brown, Joseph, Decker, Cunningham, Arnold and Vaki at Wednesday's practice to open the week.

The Detroit Lions lost starting CBs D.J. Reed and Terrion Arnold to injury against the Browns, though Arnold could play this week against the Bengals.

The Detroit Lions officially announced two practice squad elevations, ahead of their Week 5 road contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. This week, cornerback Tre Flowers and offensive lineman Devin Cochran were elevated from the practice squad.
