As Tennessee lawmakers return to Nashville on Monday for a special legislative session, students will rally at the State Capitol to call on them to address gun violence following another deadly school shooting in the state.

The community Friday rallied around the memory of Josselin Dayana Corea Escalante, who tragically had her life taken away in the Antioch school shooting.

Family, friends, and the Nashville community are left grief-stricken by the loss of Josselin Corea Escalante, whose life was cut short by a shooting at Antioch High School Wednesday.

The Antioch High School shooter and Abundant Life Christian School shooter had similar social media activity prior to the attacks.

A district official said the system failed to detect the shooter's handgun because of where cameras were in the school.
