Two people were injured in an apparent shooting in west Fort Worth on Friday, Feb. 21, officials said. Nearly 20 police units were dispatched to Whitfield Avenue and Inverness Avenue around 11:40 a.m.

Fort Worth's gun violence unit is investigating a shooting on the southwest side of the city. Officials said two people were taken to the hospital. There's no word yet on the motive for the shooting.
