After getting one of their best wins of the season, the Atlanta Hawks are back on the court for the second night of a back to back. The Hawks got a surprise win
The Hawks ruled out former Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis, who will miss his 10th straight game with Achilles tendonitis. This was set to be the first game back in Boston for the 2024 NBA champion since his offseason trade to Atlanta. Porzingis’ injury also sidelined him for the Celtics’ 132-106 win at Atlanta on Jan. 17.

The Hawks handed the Celtics their first double-digit home loss since Nov. 1 on Wednesday.

Atlanta Hawks forward Onyeka Okongwu has some serious dental work in his future after taking a Jaylen Brown elbow to the face during Wednesday's 117-106 win over the Boston Celtics. Brown, who was trying to clear space for himself on a spin near the basket, was given a flagrant foul for the elbow.
With the Hawks punching back again and increasing their lead to 73-50, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla decided to pull Brown and Payton Pritchard in favor of Jordan Walsh and Baylor Scheierman — and the ploy worked.
