With Blondie drummer Clem Burke passing away, the Sex Pistols decided to dedicate recent show to the late musician.

Clem Burke, whose versatile drumming propelled the iconic rock group Blondie during its decades performing everything from new-wave punk to disco-infused tunes, has died.

Sex Pistols and Frank Carter have used their show in Sydney to pay tribute to Blondie drummer, Clem Burke. Find footage here.

The asterisk in that is that the group did do a short tour in 2021-22 — but with the famous Blondie drummer Clem Burke sitting in for Schock, who had to sit out gigs due to thumb surgery.

Sex Pistols with Frank Carter honoured Blondie's Clem Burke at Sydney show on April 8th, he had been in a number of bands with Steve Jones and Glen Matlock.
