In week one of the Federal Trade Commission’s blockbuster monopoly trial against Meta (META), CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent around 10 hours on the stand as the agency questioned him about revealing emails from another era.

The FTC wants Meta to divest Instagram and WhatsApp to create a more level playing field in the social app market.

Meta is back in court this week, in a throwback to the company's early days, when it was still called Facebook. This week CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified in an antitrust case brought by the US Federal Trade Commission concerning the company's 2012 acquisition of Instagram and 2014 purchase of WhatsApp.
