Recently signed Carolina Panthers WR Hunter Renfrow revealed that his 2024 absence from the NFL was because of ulcerative colitis that caused him to drop "to 150 pounds."

More than likely, Renfrow will be fighting to carve out some sort of a role in 2025 with the Panthers, with Xavier Legette, Adam Thielen and McMillan expected to lead the passing attack and Jalen Coker a safe bet to see snaps as well.

Carolina spent two of its eight draft picks on wide receivers in the draft this past weekend, selecting Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan at No. 8 overall, then Jimmy Horn Jr. from Colorado in the sixth round at No. 208 overall. Now, Renfrow will have the opportunity to come in and carve out a role as Bryce Young's security blanket.
