Knicks guard Jalen Brunson sent well wishes to Jayson Tatum after the Celtics star underwent Achilles surgery on Tuesday.

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum tore his right Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter of Monday's Game 4 loss to the New York Knicks, and had surgery on Tuesday in New York City to repair the injury.

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson believes the NBA is better when Jayson Tatum is playing. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Brunson said the NBA "needs Jayson Tatum" in the wake of the Boston Celtics star undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles suffered in the Knicks' win in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
