TAMPA -- Adrian Kempe scored twice, and the Los Angeles Kings ended a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Benchmark International Arena on Thursday.

Adrian Kempe scored twice in the second period as the Los Angeles Kings avoided being swept on their three-game road trip by beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 on Thursday night.
Kempe then handed the visitors’ their first lead of the night with the lone score of the second period, this one on a backhand goal to finish a breakaway chance with 4:02 remaining.
A single turnover, a burst of speed, and Kempe's first two-goal night this season were all enough to flip the game, as the Kings walked away with a gritty 2-1 win on the road.
