Responding directly to Bernice King’s social media post, Red apologized, writing, “You ain’t wrong, never meant to disrespect your family, my apologies.” She further clarified that she had not created the image herself but merely shared it, believing it to be “innocent.”

Sexyy Red has apologized to one of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s four children after reposting an AI-modified image of the civil rights leader. While the world honored Dr. King on his annual holiday on Monday,
