The Vancouver Whitecaps are closing in on a deal to sign former Bayern Munich and Germany star Thomas Müller, sources told ESPN.

Now, according to Give Me Sport, the Whitecaps are finalizing a deal to sign Müller. This comes following an earlier report on by Manuel Veth from Transfermarkt, who stated that the Whitecaps had come to a preliminary agreement with FC Cincinnati for the discovery rights.

The deal is done, reportedly, with Thomas Müller expected to land in Vancouver to join the Whitecaps in the not-so-distant future.
