The WNBA has inherited a new, unique problem over the past week. It has always been made clear at sporting events, that fans throwing objects on the court, field, or ice, is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate ejection.

During a contest between the Golden State Valkyries and the Chicago Sky on Friday night, a fan launched said object onto the court of play, forcing the officials to stop the game. It was the second time this had happened to the Valkyries in four days; a similar situation took place in their matchup against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said she thinks the physicality other WNBA players show teammate Caitlin Clark is "too much," her new podcast revealed on Wednesday.
