If you use a solvent that removes or breaks down that oil, you are putting more wear on the engine than necessary. So while Sea Foam may help keep the fuel system cleaner, the impact it has on the pistons and cylinders could be detrimental.

I just bought my first boat and the guy who sold it to me was a big sea-foam proponent. That's basically the extent of what I know. Jan 21, 2019 · You can always remove the seat support, back the ski down on the boat ramp, and fire it up. Another option that I have used is to Sea Foam the engine. After the 5 minute time period between finishing the Sea Foam application and starting the engine back up, the Sea Foam emulsifies all the carbon deposits and the ski will smoke like crazy.

I was about to try using some rubber hose to make the ladder a bit less painful for re-boarding, but I saw a pack of four foam covers for cane handles for $20 on Amazon and took a chance. The installation was awful.
