Once known as Booker T. Washington High School, our building holds nearly a century of legacy. Founded in 1925 with support from the Rosenwald Fund, it became the first dedicated school for African-American students in Texarkana. By 1930, the school had launched its football and basketball teams under the proud Lions name.
