Just North of Whitehorse a snow kingdom has taken shape. Darren Holcombe and Lara Melnyk had a huge pile of snow in their driveway and wanted to find a way to deal with it. Holcombe is an engineer and got inspired, putting up walls, crafting a snow patio, deck chairs and even building a maypole! The couple is spending hours each day, "schnitzing" or sculpting the snow to repair the daily damage from the spring sun.
