Try this simple but challenging gait and balance exercise! One way to improve gait is to accentuate the motions that occur in the legs while walking! 💪 Repetitive stepping exercises over obstacles or small hurdles forces your patient to flex their hips up high and bend their knees while walking! Try this simple but effective gait exercise: 1. Set up small obstacles like cones, hurdles, or foam beams in a row about 15 inches apart. 2. Have your patient stand with the obstacles to their side. 3.
