A labor of love worth waiting for all these years. I'm calling her the 4 Year Dress because that's how long it took me to complete her. I really need church clothes because when I removed all my "too big" clothes from the closet, I didn't have much left for church. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried on this dress one Sunday and it fit. You should have seen me rushing to the sewing machine to add buttonholes and buttons. 😂 The things we do as sewists. Make the muslin! I know it’s time consuming to sew a practice garment but it’s worth the extra effort. Use old bedsheets, old curtains or really cheap fabric for your muslins.
