Firefighters have extinguished a hotel blaze that led to the evacuation of guests and a nearby soup kitchen. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent seven fire engines and two high-reach appliances to Virginia Street in the centre of Glasgow when the alarm was raised at 6.20pm on Saturday.
