Filled with sporting spirit and ready to tackle the road, runners for the 21.1km and 10km races gathered at the start line, at Settlers Park, Ladysmith, for the first Bhekizizwe Joseph Shabalala (BJS) Marathon, this morning, Saturday, 11 February. The race also included a 42km run, which is also a Comrades Marathon qualifier. Runners and walkers, from surrounding areas and from other provinces were among the runners and hundreds of runners could be seen running along the streets of Ladysmith. De

The 2024 Northland Mardi Gras is officially open following the 4pm grand opening ribbon cutting at Memorial Park in Ladysmith this afternoon.
