Growing sorrel has really shocked us, both for how easy it is to grow as well as how versatile it’s been in the kitchen. I had no idea of the depths of this plant when we picked one up last year. After this past winter, and seeing it continue to thrive (even in the coldest days), we knew we had to grow more all throughout the garden. We’ve made teas, used with fish, mix into shrimp scampi, and even dried some as an herb seasoning. This herb ALWAYS saves the day when we don’t have a lemon on hand
